Programs: In-City Programs Courses

The first of christodora’s In-City Programs is its School Outreach program, which employs Americorps interns working with over some 1500 students in weekly environmental science classes in thirty-two East Harlem and South Bronx public school classrooms. This outreach program is operated with the indispensable financial support of Gary and Elizabeth Winterbottom and the J.C. Kellogg Foundation, and the collaboration of the Student Conservation Association. In addition, the outreach program recruits students for Christodora’s Outdoor Explorers program, and runs environmental clubs at site schools  |
