The Elliman Scholarship Program for Advanced Studies in the Environment builds on the students’ experience at the Manice Center and in other christodora programs, offering a select number of highly-motivated high school students an opportunity to further pursue their studies in the natural sciences in specialized summer science programs at outstanding research institutes and private colleges. Recent scholarship recipients have attended Hobart & William Smith College’s Environmental Studies Institute; Smith College’s Science & Engineering Program, and the Teton Science School, and have worked on Student Conservation Association back country trail crews..
